Baked Caesar Chicken Ingredients
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
- Caesar salad dressing, 1 cup
- 1 1/2 cups grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup optional sour cream
Instructions
- Spray the interior of an 8×11-inch baking dish with cooking spray after heating the oven to 375°F.
- Using a meat pounder, pound the breasts until they are an even 34″ to 1″ thickness after they have been cut in an irregular pattern.
- Set the breasts in the prepared baking dish and sprinkle them with freshly ground black pepper and grated Parmesan cheese.
- In a small bowl, combine the sour cream and Caesar dressing. Sprinkle-grated Parmesan cheese over the Caesar or sour cream mixture that has been applied to each breast.
- Bake the prepared chicken for 30 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit in the oven.
- Broil the chicken breasts for an additional 2-4 minutes, turning the oven to broil, until they are golden brown.
- When the meat is done, a meat thermometer stuck in the thickest part of one of the middle breasts should read 165°F. After taking the chicken out of the oven, cover it loosely with foil and allow it to rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
- Serve! If you want, chopped parsley can be used as a garnish.
